D.Mohamed Kamal Breast Cancer Research Team

Our broad research intersts lie in the field of breast cancer pathology and cell biology. We mainly focus on discovering novel and more effecient biomarkers and drug targets for breast cancer. To acheive these goals, it is important to understand how breast cancer is developed and propagated. Using a wide range of pathological, molecular biology and cell culture techniques, our group is trying to provide better understanding to the molecular mechanism of the disease and therefore discovering new biomarkers and drug targets. In order to accomplish our mission, we established a national and international collaborative network. This network includes tumour surgeons, pathologists and molecular cell biologists.
